Currently I am exporting my Crystal Reports to MS Word. CR has a stored procedure that pulls data and then I use .NET to render the data, along with other text. Pretty standard way to use CR with .NET.
Currently the user can change the data when the CR is rendered in Word. Then they can print the document or save it. I need the fields pulled from the stored procedure to be non-editable. I can render the document in PDF but I need to have a comments section the user can enter comments. So the data returned from the SP needs to be locked, the other parts of the Word doco needs to be editable.
Any ideas?
