Moving Crystal Report to Server gives error "Failed to open the connection. Details: [Database Vendor Code: 17 ]"

I am having issues with  getting crystal reports to display on my ASP.net site. The error I get is: "Failed to open the connection. Details: [Database Vendor Code: 17 ]" I have googled for a solution to this without getting a fix that works for me.  

It works perfectly on my local machine but gives this error on the server. From your experience, how can I get round this and have my reports to also display on the server?
